CANON LIST Options

[Junkland-Staff]

Here is Junkland’s Canon List. These characters are pivotal to the Plot on the board and should only be taken by serious members. All the information that is provided; names, race etc are final unless you really just want to change it all we ask is that you speak to an admin before changing it. You may select your own celebrity portrayal but please take into consideration age when choosing your character. If your character looks 20 but the canon lists his/hers age as 40 we may ask you to change it. The bio given is just a brief idea of kind of person the character is, we expect you to take what is given and elaborate immensely. We have left them vague for a reason, and that is because we would like to see you make these canons your own. If for some reason you can not fulfill the potential of these canons, or decide to leave the board, the canon you selected will be put back for grabs for other able members to take.

We do need Council Members but these characters are incredibly important, if you decide to take one of these characters we expect you to be amongst the most active members on the board. All you need to do to snag a canon is post a reply to this thread and post your Character Sheet in the pending section of the site. You have ONE week to post your application, if you fail to do so your canon will be reopened.

P.S- And just so there is no confusion if the name is striked through it means that the character has been taken.

ATTENTION! Due to an over incite on Canons, we have now made the canon list Guest friendly. What does this mean? It means you do not create or register an account with the name of the canon you would like to have UNTIL you request that canon position. After you have made a request and once you have been given the GREEN light, you may then register an account with the name. This is so future mishaps won’t happen.

Quick Bio- Perhaps the most influential of all Builders, he is vastly imposed to the idea of opening the gates to the rest of Junkland and is working very hard to see that decision turned. He is a very suave, attractive and incredibly wealthy but looks his nose down on all Junklanders and the like. Cunning and cut throat he stepped on many to get to his position within the council and will continue to do so to keep it.

Quick Bio- Soft spoken but strong willed. Charlie is what many would consider the foundation within the Council. He is incredibly intelligent and does not let his emotions rule his judgments. When he speaks most listen, all though he is the type who sits back and takes it all in before doing so. If ever there is someone to have on their side within the council he is the one to have.

Quick Bio- The newest member to the council, only being within the inner circle for 3 years she is a fresh face and voice to those around her. A fiery temper but an angelic personality, she leaps often without thinking and worries about the consequences later. She is empathetic to the Junklander cause and would like to see away with i.d bracelets and the segregation that builders have created. Partially because she had once fell in love with a Junklander and partially because she absolutely detests Damien and his egotistic ways. She is the third generation of Kensington’s to hold a place within the council and though some feel that is the only reason as to why she was elected, she has the determination to prove them wrong.

*Andre Meyers
African American 30 male homosexual
Quick Bio- A man for the people, his primary concern is to see New L.A flourish and continue to grow. He is often thought of as the face of the Council, the one who speaks at rallies and the like, but he is easily influenced and tends to follow Damiens leads. He is a neat freak and wants to see things done perfectly and does not like the idea of Mutants at all considering they are the epitome of a mutation from the straight and narrow.

*Esumi Watanabe

Quick Bio- Esumi is an enigma. She has a deep rooted strength that makes her frightful yet appealing all in the same breath. Very poise and always elegant she is the epitome of beauty and intelligence. She too can be cunning and it’s not always certain to which side she will fall on the line.


Russel Smith
Caucasian 32 male heterosexual
Quick Bio- An advocate of the Junklanders cause, he has partnered himself with the Junklander rebellion to get the likes of Damien off the council and replace them with people who actually make a difference in society. He wears a mask within the builder community, owning several businesses and is incredibly wealthy although his money is often used to help those within the Junkland régime. He is charismatic and a ladies man but aloof at times because his heart is in the cause.

Helen West

Quick Bio- She is Damien’s assistant and is enthralled with the man. He treats her with more respect then most and so she has confused that with love. She is energetic, humorous, loyal and surprisingly very innocent. Her childlike quality makes her seem gullible and naive but her heart is strong and just maybe with time she will allow herself to see that.

James Carter
Caucasian 37 male homosexual
Quick Bio- One of the resident scientist and doctors within New L.A, he often works hand in hand with the council to ensure the health and well being of his fellow citizens. He also plays a pivotal roll with Mutants, and does as much research to try and understand them better.

Ethan Harding
Caucasian 38 male heterosexual
Quick Bio- The chief of police, Ethan is a stickler for the rules. He doesn’t care who breaks them, you can be a Junklander or Builder it doesn’t matter you will still be punished. His one priority is to keep the streets of New L.A as safe as possible. He is not one to be bribed even by the council so he is constantly in conflict to maintain his position as leader of the police force. There are those who would see him removed or worse yet dead but there is little that Ethan Harding is afraid of, and death is not one of them.

Jack Sullivan
Caucasian 24 male heterosexual
Quick Bio- Perhaps not the sleaziest of policemen but he ranks high upon the list of those on the force who treat Junklanders like filth. He takes delight in harassing anyone wearing a band and one wrong glance from them he will send you to the containment center without as much as a second thought. He was never one to play nice and he could care less about it.

Gabrielle Valdez
Hispanic 26 female heterosexual
Quick Bio- Ever since she could remember Gabrielle had wanted to join the force and follow in her fathers footsteps. Raphael Valdez died while on duty breaking up simple Junklander scuffle when Gabrielle was only 16, and so she fights a constant battle with herself to try and treat the people who murdered her father with dignity and respect. It is hard and only time will tell which side of the line she will fall.

Matthew King

Quick Bio- Fresh on the force, even though his demeanor portrays other wise. Highly intelligent, his ideas of logistics and formation are an asset to the force. Even as a child he found himself particularly interested in war, and the history of warfare. But fate had another plan for him, and when he was only 21 and gearing himself to join the force, his young wife died while giving birth to their daughter. His dreams had to take a back seat as he found himself having to take care of and provide for his only child by himself. Now some seven years later, and with the urging of his young and just as bright daughter he is finally jumping head first into his dream job.

Aubrey Danes

Perhaps one of the most influential Junklanders to live in New L.A. She was born and raised within the city and feels it is unjustifiable to be treated as lowly as she and her fellow Junklanders have been. She has enlisted the help of Russel Smith and often they can be seen together having secret meetings and the like. It is thought that the two are lovers but it is just a rumor that no one but the two know if its true or not. She is the leader of the J-FET (Junklanders for Ethical Treatment), the small rebellious group who are often the head of protests and riots within New L.A. She will not stop until she sees the likes of Damien off the council and Junklanders treated with the respect they deserve.

Markus Edwards
Caucasian 29 male heterosexual
Quick Bio- He is a rouge like character and it’s a wonder why he even joined the J-FET, but he has his own agenda and he can not do it alone. As it would turn out, he is the half brother to Damien Alexander, his mother having had a dalliance with the head councilors father some time ago. His true father had wanted to have the pregnancy terminated, and set about on his own accord to make sure it was so. Markus’s mother barely escaped New. L.A with her own life as well as her unborn son but managed to flee into the desert of California to live the remainder of her life struggling to provide for her child in the heartless and uncaring world outside the safety of the cities walls. On her death bed, Markus was told the truth and he has returned to the city full of hate and vengeance for Damien and his “father” because of the hard life he was forced to live.

Olivia Barnes

Quick Bio- She is a Junklander ready to see a change. She is impatient and doesn’t understand why those of the J-FET like Aubrey wait to make their moves. Often she is the one to foolishly start fights just to have an excuse to confront Builders and the police force. She has a dream of equality and fighting spirit and isn’t scared to die for the cause.

Addison Cole
Hispanic 20 female heterosexual
Quick Bio- Joining the J-FET was not something Addison had intentionally wanted to do. She had only wanted to move into the city to start a fresh, safe, long fulfilling life. But the Builder Police Force unjustfully picked her up, placing her in confinement. They accused her of being in league with the J-FET and she spent days in painful inhumane interrogations. Realizing after almost 6 months that they had gotten the wrong person she was released with not so much as a sorry. Addison was more then just mentally and physically scarred, she was pissed. So much so that she sought out the J-FET and joined their ranks. She is a prime example of the injustice that Junklanders receive and she wants to make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Harper Wilson
Caucasian 25 male heterosexual
Very intelligent, he wandered into New. La when he was about twenty years old and brought with him his knowledge of technology. He, for years scoured the land for any information that he could of the “old world” and because of this his knowledge goes beyond most. He helps keep things running within the city and is often pulled in two different directions; to help other Junklanders or to continue to associate himself with the Council and the Builder society.

Quick Bio- She is one tough cookie; originally she had worked in a small cathouse on the outskirts of the dessert in a small shanty town but life was more then tough. When she was a teenager she had heard from a traveling Builder, one of the few who had decided to venture out into the wastes of California that the gates of New L.A were open for those who wished to live within its confines. And so she ventured forth to the new destination, working as a prostitute until she was able to purchase a very established Bordello from two sisters. She is very protective of her girls, and with the money she receives able to keep the police force and the council off her back.

Morgan Anderson

Quick Bio- All about money, Morgan is one of the most requested women in Mamma Abbots Bordello. She is strong willed and knows what she wants and this is to one day buy her builder citizenship. She sees builders as the epitome of success, so much in fact that she more often then not denies Junklander patrons for Builders. A lot of the other girls believe her to be a snob because she maintains the essential builder attitude, that she is better then all the rest. And truth be told, there are very few who can rival her beauty and skill.

Yasmeen Moore
African American 25 bisexual
Quick Bio- She is an exotic ebony beauty, one of the first Junklanders to work in Mamma Abbots establishment. She has seniority over most of the girls, and acts as Mammas right hand. She rarely ever needs to sleep with customers but every once in a while a patron will suit her fancy. She is outspoken and can not stand stupidity and will often voice her opinion to Junklanders and Builders alike. To the secrecy and undoubtedly surprise of many, Charlie Urving is one of her regulars.
